Motorsport fans have a slice of fast-paced action to look forward to away from the Formula 1 at the Red Bull Ring. When the cars of the elite class of motorsport take a break, the Red Bull Driftbrothers will really let it rip on Friday (12:50 – 13:00) and Saturday (14:35 – 14:45). Pulling the strings behind the Red Bull Driftbrothers are German brothers Eli and Joe Hountondji, who have been taking part in drifting since 2009.

In drifting, the general rule in terms of speed and drift angle is ‘the more the better’. The incredible athletes have made modifications to their BMW M4 G82 as a result – and the maximum power of the engine has been increased to 1040 hp, while the maximum torque is now 1250 Nm. Together with their team, the brothers have therefore created two ultimate drift cars with which they will put on a brilliant show at the Red Bull Ring.
For the chassis, Eli and Joe Hountondji put their faith in a ST suspension kit. The advantages of this are faster adjustability and easier handling. The spring-damper unit transfers the power of the BMW S58 engine – the heart of the vehicle – to the road and at the same time makes it controllable. Fans can look forward to unique drifts and loads of smoke.
