Everything you need to know about your eventful and unforgettable weekend at the Red Bull Ring is summarized here. Under “admission criteria”, you will furthermore find a list with all items that are permitted and not permitted at the event site.

Pre-Event General

The Formula 1 Rolex Großer Preis von Österreich 2023 will take place from 30 June to 2 July.
Alongside Formula 1, there will also be Formula 2 and Formula 3, as well as Porsche Supercup races.

Only holders of a valid F1 weekend ticket who have also bought a Pit Lane Walk ticket have access.

Following grandstands will be open: Tribüne Start Ziel, Red Bull Tribüne, Tribüne T3, Tribüne Schönberg, Tribüne Nord, Tribüne Mitte, Tribüne T8, T9 und T10.

Media Accreditation

The application period for national media accreditation for the “Formula 1 Großer Preis von Österreich 2023” has ended.

Pre-Event Tickets

The online presale ends on Friday, 23.06.2023 at 12:00. You can find all information here.

Yes, your child needs a ticket. The child must not have celebrated its 15th birthday on the day of the race and must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. You can find all information about the tickets here.

The ticket offices are open. Please note that tickets will be sold accordingly to respective availability.

Pre-Event Arrival

You can get to the race track quickly, inexpensively and relaxed by bus, train or bike. You can find an overview of all the options here or in the Red Bull Ring App under the tab “arrival”.

You should expect increades traffic on the race weekend, so we recommend arriving as early as possible or using public transport. More information on the different arrival options are available here or in the Red Bull Ring App under the tab “arrival”.

Ö3 will also keep you informed about the current traffic situation thoughout the race weekend. The free ASFINAG app provides all information about traffic jams, accidents, construction sites, closures and rest stops. We wish you a safe journey!

The parking lots will open one hour before the site opens. They are in the immediate walking distance. Please use the traffic control system and the staff members on site to orientate yourself when entering.
The parking spaces are free for visitors from Thursday to Sunday (except coaches and trucks). You will find all informations for bus operators here.

Wheelchair users with tickets to the grandstand “Tribüne Start Ziel” will receive parking permits which let them drive all the way up to the Red Bull Ring. The wheelchair car park has an additional contact point where specially trained employees will be happy to help you with anything you may need. “Tribüne Start Ziel” has a wheelchair ramp and disabled toilets on the same level as the grandstand seats. There are three parking spaces available as well as a service station for bikes. All information about arrival to the Red Bull Ring by bike can be found here.

The special parking spaces are sold out. However, free parking is available for those arriving by car or motorcycle. For the special parking spaces “P Special”, which are subject to a fee, you can travel from noth directions via Knittelfeld West, then follow the road signage for “VIP PARKING AREAS”.

Event – General

If you need help, dial 133 or 112. Police officers will be send to you immediately. The mor specific your information about your location is, the faster the police can be on site.

Whenever you need the support or intervention of the police or want to report something.

It is always best to dial 133 or 112. But of course the police are also in site. The officials are on the race site themselves and there is a seperate police station directly at the Welcome Center.

Yes. You can find details of the broadcasting dates in your local TV listings. On site, you will have the opportunity to watch the races on large screens at the Red Bull Ring as well as online.
Audio description (acoustic desciption of images) will be available for blind and visually impaired visitors. Experienced hosts will comment on the events on the track and will ensure that blind and visually impaired visitors do not miss out on anything and can experience an entertaining race weekend. The audio description will be broadcast on the frequency 94.2 MHz.

You can make cashless payments everywhere at the Red Bull Ring. In many places only cashless payment is possible. All major credit and debit cards are accepted, as well as cashless cards. You can top up the cashless card with cash on site and use it to pay at the Red Bull Ring.

It is advisable to use cashless payment, as only cashless payment is possible in many places on the Red Bull Ring site. At some sales stands, such as the Red Bull Ring Fan Shop, it is possible to pay with cash.

All grandstand seats are numbered. You will find the information about your seat on your valid Formula 1 ticket.

Your general admission ticket gives you access to the Red Bull Ring, the general admission area and the F1 Fan Zone as well as the Steiermark Village.

Yes. In addition to the F1 Fan Zone behind the Niki Lauda Turn, the Steiermark Village will be set up opposite the Red Bull Wing. You will find the programme here.

You can take plastic bottles and drink cans (in reasonable quantities for personal consumption) with you to the event site. All kind of alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Cameras, film and video cameras with batteries for private use and not for commercial purposes (e.g. NO video cameras suitable for television) are permitted. Professionel television or video cameras as well as equipment for professional sound recording are prohibited.

Yes, as long as the backpack does not exceed the size of A3 (11.6 x 16.5 inch). Bulky, large (sport) bags or suitcases are prohibited for access to the stands. For the purposes of this provision, bulky items of luggage are all items that cannot be stowed in the ticket area.

Pyrotechnic articles of all kind are prohibited. In general, the bringing in of fireworks, smoke bombs, incendiary devices, sticks, poles, garden and other large umbrellas, glass bottles, stones, stabbing, cutting and slashing objects as well as weapons of all kinds are prohibited.

It is not permitted to bring animals to the event. Assistance dogs are excluded from these restrictions.

After-Event Departure

Since a growing volume of traffic is to be expected after the race, we recommend that you wait a bit. The best thing is to enjoy refreshments and good entertainment in the Fan Zones. For a smooth departure from the site, please follow the instructions of the stewrads and executives. The Ö3 traffic radio informs you about the current traffic situation. The free ASFINAG App also provides all information about traffic jams, accidents, construction sites, closures and rest stops. We wish you a safe departure!

We strive to make the departure for all race fans as smooth as possible. However with a crowd of this size you will have to prepare for some delays in your departure.

Due to traffic police reasons, departure from the camping areas on Sunday is expected to take place from 20:00.
