Profil Augusto Fernández:
At the beginning of his career, the Spaniard was taken under the wing of no less a figure than José Manuel Lorenzo (father and coach of MotoGP rider Jorge Lorenzo). In the 2019 season, he made his breakthrough with three wins and 5th place overall. After an injury in 2020, he fought back impressively last year to take the 2022 Moto2 world title. This year he will compete in MotoGP as the only class rookie in the Tech3 GASGAS Factory Team.
