We recommend drawing up a checklist to ensure you’re good and ready for the Formula 1 Rolex Großer Preis von Österreich 2023. Your F1 ticket (plus Pit Lane Walk ticket if you’ve bought one in advance), personal ID, wallet, camera and mobile phone with charger are essential items to pack. As there is no opportunity to charge your mobile phone at the venue, it is advisable to bring a power bank. Sunscreen and rain protection are also a must-have, but a word of warning: umbrellas are only permitted in the standing areas, not in the covered grandstands.

All roads lead to Spielberg

To make sure your journey to the Red Bull Ring is as stress-free as possible, we recommend that you start planning it well in advance. The most relaxing, affordable and environmentally friendly way to get there is by bus, train or bike. A traffic guidance system along the access roads will make it easier for you to get to the car parks, which are free of charge for F1 visitors. They are open on Friday and Saturday from 08:00 and on Sunday from 07:00. Tip: Make a note of the number displayed at the entrance to each car park so that you can find your way back easily in the evening.

If you are a wheelchair user who has purchased a ticket for the home straight grandstand, then you will have received a parking permit with your ticket allowing you special access to the Red Bull Ring. There is a Handicap Info Point opposite the Welcome Center, where trained staff will be on hand to answer any questions, you may have. The home straight grandstand is equipped with a wheelchair ramp and toilets on the same level. If you have purchased a standard discounted ‘Handicap Ticket’, parking spaces for the disabled are available in all signposted car parks.

If you are camping at the site, it is recommended that you arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. If you arrive later, delays and diversions are to be expected. To help you find your way around the site, download the free Red Bull Ring App onto your mobile phone now and derive all the benefits of the interactive map. This will assist you in finding the quickest way to your desired destination, no matter whether it’s a car park, info point, toilet or food stand.

Pit stop in the Red Bull Ring Fan Shop

Having the right gear to wear is an important part of going to the Grand Prix. At the merchandise stores in the F1 Fan Zone (behind the Niki Lauda Turn) and in the Steiermark Village (opposite the Red Bull Wing), you can get yourself decked out in the latest fashion accessories from the F1 teams. All ticket holders have access to the Fan Zones, regardless of whether they have a ticket for the standing or seated areas. If you’re looking for that special souvenir, a ‘pit stop’ at the Red Bull Ring Fan Shop is a must. It’s only here that you can buy the exclusive ‘AustrianGP’ T-shirts and caps.

In addition to Formula 1, the supporting race series (Formula 2, Formula 3, Porsche Supercup) and numerous side events will provide non-stop action throughout the F1 weekend. Among the other highlights of the occasion will be the Legends Parade, impressive air displays by the Flying Bulls, the Meet the Driver and Styrian Green Carpet sessions, as well as great musical performances on stage in the F1 Fan Zone and in the Steiermark Village.
