  1. No time to rest

It all comes thick and fast for the fans over the weekend of the CryptoDATA Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich 2022. From Friday to Sunday, there will be a fight for victories and points in three categories. In addition to the smaller, but no less exciting classes of Moto2 and Moto3, the spectators will also be treated to the Red Bull Rookies Cup. Since 2007, the series for juniors has been the ideal route into the motorcycle world championship. This year, 26 riders from 18 nations are to compete, including Austria’s Jakob Rosenthaler.

  1. Insane speeds

You can see the best riders in the world go about their work at the Red Bull Ring as they battle with their opponents and manoeuvre their bodies in remarkable ways to tame the brute force of their bikes. In 2021, Jorge Martin (Ducati) set a new lap record with a time of 1:22.643 minutes and an average speed of 187.300 km/h in the qualifying session at Spielberg. The Red Bull Ring therefore replaced Philip Island (Australia) as the fastest GP track in the world. Fans are sure to be intrigued to see to what extent the new Münzer chicane affects lap times this year.
