What more could a keen adventurer possibly want? On 18 and 19 September 2021, it will be all about four-wheel drive action at Spielberg.
Where the road ends, the real adventure is only beginning for off-road fans. With lush grass and gnarled tree trunks right in front of the headlights as the four-wheel drive vehicle takes you over stony forest paths and ground dotted with roots. So many people would dream about exploring this unique landscape in their own off-road vehicle. It doesn’t have to remain a dream: the 4×4 Action Weekend offers everything an adventurous racing fan could possibly desire. For accompanying passengers, this off-road weekend at Spielberg will also be one of the highlights of the year.
DISCOVER THE ‘AUSTRIAN JUNGLE‘
Follow experienced instructors through the 550 hectares of off-road paradise. The incredibly diverse sections offer different levels of difficulty as a convoy heads off the tarmac to conquer them. Doesn‘t that sound like the perfect way to live out your passion for off-roading? The tour starts at an altitude of 800 metres and you will work your way over tough terrain with fantastic nature, all the way up to 1,600 metres if the weather allows.
EXPERIENCE THE 4WD TEST TRACK
A true four-wheel adventure away from solid ground awaits you and your four-wheel drive vehicle at Spielberg. Covering an area of around 8,000 square metres, the 4WD Test Track provides everything an off-road enthusiast could possibly desire. Angled runs, a waved track, wooden track, gravel bed and various driving routes over rocks, steps, barrels and with a winch. The aim is to push your own vehicle‘s traction to the limit in a safe environment with it always being under your control, of course.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAMME:
An action-packed programme with numerous highlights awaits all participants. Sample the off-road qualities of your car by driving downhill and on slopes! You can choose yourself which activities you want to take part in, and whether you want to combine any:
- Free driving on the 4WD test track at Spielberg
- Roadbook drive in the Spielberg area
- Guided off-road tour on the off-road car trail in Gaal
- Red Bull Ring Tour: A look behind the scenes of one of the most modern race tracks in the world
- Workshops (winch training, off-road beginner training)
- Exhibition area for off-road accessories
If that’s not enough adrenaline, you can book additional activities, including driving experiences with the Mitsubishi L200, Land Rover Defender, Offroad Buggy, Enduro or Trial, KTM X-Bow and many more.
At the final get-together on Saturday evening, 18 September, off-road fans can swap their experiences at a BBQ.
