Modified cars start in the OPEN vehicle class that are no longer correspond to the original regulations of their racing series. The Brazilian drove in Formula 1 alongside Mark Webber at Jaguar Racing in 2003 and will compete for Austrian team HS Engineering at this weekend’s Red Bull Ring Classics.
Vettel debuts in GP2
Fabian Vettel, Sebastian Vettel’s little brother, makes his Boss GP debut at the Red Bull Ring. With a GP2 car from the Austrian team Top Speed, the 24-year-old could immediately cause a sensation in the Formula class. Fans can also look forward to Alexander Geier’s debut in the Dallara GP2. Last year, the young man from Salzburg made a big showing in the Super Lights category. The Styrian local matador and experienced mountain racer Christian Ferstl, is also at the start with a GP2 car.
