The 2023 Rupert Hollaus Race is the 20th running of this event named after the young Austrian rider who died in a training accident at Monza on 11th September 1954 at the age of just 23, only a few weeks after winning the title in the 125cc class. To this day, Rupert Hollaus remains the only ‘red-white-red’ motorbike world champion in road racing.
On the weekend of 26th/27th August 2023, hundreds of bikers on amazing vintage motorbikes will celebrate the good old days at the Red Bull Ring. With our VIP package, you are guaranteed the best seat – from the vantage point of our exclusive VIP lounges, you get an up-close view of the historic motorbikes as well as the ‘acrobats on three wheels’.
There will be races in multiple classes:
- Historic motorbikes built in or before 1993
- Motorbikes with sidecars built in or before 1990
- ‘Youngtimers’ built between 1994 and 2004
- Supersport and Superbike built between 2005 and 2022
- International Sidecar Trophy
- Dual classification: Speed and Regularity
